In 1996, I had my first son. He weighed 2 lbs. In 2010, I had my fourth child, my third son. He weighed 1 pound. In between my bookend preemies, I have had a barage of heatlh issues (too boring to list here). Recently my husband called me Titty Lupus. It's seriously the perfect umbrella-title for my host of autoimmune diseases. What disease do you have? Titty Lupus Disease.
Fun to say, not so fun to live with.
In 2012, I am determined to get my life back. For all the reasons this may not be possible (I've been down this road before), I know this:
I have witnessed two wee little boys transform their baby bird, dying bodies, into amazing vibrant ones. On their hospital isolettes' I wrote the phrase: All things are possible.
The time has come to prove that to myself.
